Sky For Caravans

Watch Sky in your caravan!

Of course you don't go on holiday to watch TV but there are days or times when it's great to just chill out watching an hour or two of your favourite programmes or just to keep the kids from saying 'I'm bored what can I do?'

Poor receptionTV in caravans used to mean a terrible grainy picture from just one or two channels that you could get and even that meant spending an hour or more trying to get the aerial in just the right position to get any reception at all.

Thankfully those days are gone!

You can now set yourself up with a proper portable Sat Nav dish and as long as you can get line of sight to a satellite then you should be able to receive high quality pictures on all FreeSat channels!

Sat Nav Dish

Did you know though that if you already have a Sky subscription then you can simply take your viewing card with you so that all your Sky channels will be with you on holiday too!

You can take your Sky box with you of course, but it's probably a better idea to just pick up a secondhand one so that you are not so concerned about it being stolen or damaged on the journey.

You can pick up a reconditioned Sky box for around £50 and for less than £100 you can get a full Sat Nav dish kit along with everything you'll need including a Finder device to help you align the dish towards a satellite.

Tip: try to avoid parking near trees or buildings as this can interfere with the signal.
